Phyllis Trout is a visual artist working across multiple disiplines. Her most recent work are two series of monotypes, Bardo, and Babel. The bardo is a transitional and liminal consciousness between awake and asleep, living and dying, and light and dark. "Babel" refers to translation as a tool of empire.
